Imaginary Talk Show with The Actors of The Film “The Godfather”(English Homework from my school)

MC:   Good morning audiences. It’s a beautiful morning. It’s great to see you here. In a moment, we will meet the famous actors from the fabulous film “The Godfather”.

          They are: Francis Ford Coppola and Marlon Brando

MC:  Hello, Mr. Coppola. We would like to know how could you be            chosen as the director for The Godfather?

Coppola     : Oh, actually I am not Paramount Pictures first choice. They have offered this job to my friends, Sergio Leone and Peter Bogdanovich, but they didn’t accept it. I was also doubted in the beginning before I agreed to take the job.

MC: Why were you doubted?

Coppola     : Because I am afraid that it would make the mafia became famous and looked like heroes.

MC: But it didn’t happen. The film is really a great success. Can you tell us what makes it like that?

Coppola     : Hm, the film scored a big success, because I have the great actor playing in it.

MC: Do you mean Marlon Brando?

Coppola     : Yes, of course! Who else?

MC: Oh, hi Mr. Brando. Nice to have you as our guest.

Brando       : Just call me Marlon. I am very happy to be your guest too.

MC: You are really a great actor. You play your role in the film fantastically.

Brando       : Oh. Don’t say like that. I am not as great as you think.

MC : Why do you say that?

Marlon       : It had been known that I was not a nice actor at that time. Producers did not like me because I often made the film delayed.

MC: So, did Mr. Coppola got a problem when he chose you as the main actor for The Godfather?

Brando       : Hahahaaa, he did! He got a problem with Paramount Pictures. But, he treated to quit if I was not accepted to be Don Vito Corleone.

MC : Great job, Mr. Coppola. You have made the right decision and have created wonderful film.

          Can we watch a little part of your film now?

Coppola     : Yes. Why not? Let’s my well-known film.

MC : Okey audiences, here is a little part of The Godfather.
